Many people like to travel to the United Arab Emirates for different reasons. UAE visa on arrival

This is applicable to those who have a passport from certain countries. You will not have to pursue any advance visa arrangements to visit the UAE. When you disembark your flight in the country you will go to immigration. Here your passport will get stamped with the 30-day visit visa which is free of charge.

Those from countries like Australia, China, Japan, Singapore, the USA, the UK, etc. can apply for this visa.

There is the 90-day visit visa which is valid for 6 months from the date that it is issued. You can stay in the country for 90 days with a visa. This visa is for citizens of Austria, Brazil, Belgium, etc.

48 hour transit visa

If you are transiting through a UAE country and going to a third destination, you can get the 48 hours transit visa. The duration of the visa will be 48 hours. It is a non-extendable visa. This will be for those who are not planning to stay for much time in the UAE.

96 hour transit visa

Another transit visa is the 96 hour one. The duration is 4 days from your arrival date. This transit visa is also non-extendable.

You should apply for this visa if you have a short layover at the airport in the UAE. This visa can be gotten through some UAE-based airline that you are traveling with or the travel agency you are using. With these transit visas, you need to leave the UAE within 48 or 96 hours according to the one you get.

Tourist Visa

If you want to spend a holiday in the UAE, you can choose to get a 30 day or 90 day tourist visa. This will let you have single or multiple entries according to the one you get. These visas are extendable. You can apply for the single entry or multiple entry one.

There is also the 60 Days Abu Dhabi Tourist Visa. This tourist visa is for those who want to stay for a maximum of 60 days in Abu Dhabi or the UAE. The visa will be applicable for 60 days. It is also available as a single or multiple-entry one and you can renew it.

You will need to apply through the airline you are traveling with, travel agencies, family or friends that can sponsor your tourist visa, etc. There are some online platforms for immigration where you can apply for a visa as well.

Five-year multiple entry visa

For those who often visit the UAE for business reasons or because they have family there, choosing a long-term multiple-entry visa will be better. You will not need to continuously apply for a new one every time.

With this visa, it is possible to stay for a maximum of 90 days for each visit. The days of this may be increased for another 90 days. The main requirement of this entry visa is to give a bank statement that is from the past six months. You need to have a certain amount of cash in your bank for this as well.

Gulf Cooperation Council or GCC resident’s e-visa

The visa is for residents of GCC countries as well as their family members. This visa can be applied for online. You need to be a resident of a GCC country.

The entry permit will be valid for 30 days from the date that it is issued. You can remain for 30 days in the UAE. The above are some visas that you can look at if you want to enter the UAE. You should check which one applies to you.
