The Good Samaritan Foundation Hosts the Lewisham Family Fun Day in Memory of Queen Elizabeth II

The TGSF is proud of the success of its latest community event which brought people together for a day of fun, while also voicing the public’s concern for post-pandemic issues.
The Good Samaritan Foundation (TGSF) is highly proactive about leveraging the power of the community to improve people’s lives. The charity recently held the Lewisham Family Fun Day in memory of Queen Elizabeth II on Saturday 5th November 2022 at Blackheath Halls. The event was highly successful as a large number of people both young and adults from the local areas took part in a day of entertainment, music, food, public speaking, and more. Guests of honor at the event included Lewisham Deputy Mayor Brenda Dacres, Lewisham Young Mayor Rossana, Rev. Amos Fatusin HOD CCC UK Diocese, Joe Burchell, Tayo Prince, Dr. Toyin Onibokun among other community leaders.
Counsellor Funmi Ademilua a spokesperson for charity made an official press statement regarding the event, “The Lewisham Family Fun Day was a remarkable day for our foundation. Not only were we able to bring the community together for something fun and positive but were also able to discuss the community’s post-pandemic and the current living costs struggles in the presence of notable public leaders who can inspire change at a bigger level.” Thanking the national lottery community funds for supporting the initiative and hoping our charity gets more support to be able to address community families’ concerns and provide them with the help they need.
