Meghan Markle makes her way to the Oscars

Meghan Markle is now one step closer to achieving her dream of winning an Oscar. Streaming Netflix has signed a millionaire contract with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which increases the chances of obtaining the statuette for the former Royal.

Meghan Markle wants to win an Oscar

Meghan Markle is waiting for the long-awaited deal that she and Harry made with Netflix will grant her the Oscar she so many desires, confirmed a person close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A short time ago the couple spread the news confirming an agreement of about 150 million dollars to produce content with Netflix.

This agreement comes at a good time; just nine months after the royal couple renounced their titles from the British royal family.

In search of their financial independence from the crown, they settled in Hollywood and bought a house in California, United States, for 14 million dollars.

The former actress had left her career to marry a member of the British royal family, but because her stay in the United Kingdom did not work out as expected, now Meghan hopes to win an Oscar following her deal with Netflix.

“An Oscar is everything Meg has ever wanted. She used to practice her acceptance speech in the mirror with a hairbrush when she was seven, “an old friend of Markle’s said in the middle.”

“Her absolute dream was to achieve EGOT, the great success of show business,” she added.

EGOT groups together the four most important awards in the television industry in the United States: Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony.

Meghan and Harry are said to be following in the footsteps Barack and Michelle Obama took to win the Oscar. The former presidential partner also signed an agreement with Netflix, and after a year of work the business relationship paid off, earning them the long-awaited Oscar for their documentary “American Factory.”
